本期课堂将重点讲解初中英语阅读.
阅读是英语学习非常重要的一种手段,即使英美等西方国家的学生,也是通过阅读来丰富自己的词汇,扩充自己的知识面.而作为我们国家的学生,通过英语阅读,除了能带来以上好处之外,还能使学生逐渐地获得英语语感,对于英语的写作也有巨大的帮助!下面我就以对新概念英语第二册第36课：“Across the Channel”进行阅读分析,来启发学生学会怎么进行阅读分析.书的原文是：Debbie Hart is going to swim across the English Channel tomorrow.She is going to set out from the French coast at five o'clock in the morning.Debbie is only eleven years old and she hopes to set up a new world record.She is a strong swimmer and many people feel that she is sure to succeed.Debbie's father will set out with her in a small boat.Mr.Hart has trained his daughter for years.Tomorrow he will be watching her anxiously as she swims the long distance to England.Debbie intends to take short rests every two hours.She will have something to drink but she will not eat any solid food.Most of Debbie's school friends will be waiting for her on the English coast.Among them will be Debbie's mother,who swam the Channel herself when she was a girl.我们可以从以下几个方面对课文进行全面的分析：1、掌握生词：record strong swimmer succeed train anxiously intend solid,要学会灵活应用,举一反三.2、掌握课文中的一些短语：如set out,set up,every two hours等 3、参照译文,详细地阅读文章,争取弄懂每一句话 4、学习课文中的关键句型 She is going to swim across the Channel tomorrow.在陈述句和疑问句中,我们常常可用going to 来代替shall或will.除此以外,我们还要对书中的一些难点进行分析,然后完成书后的练习,就基本可以做到对本篇课文的融汇贯通了,从这篇文章中学到许多东西.初中生进行英语阅读时,家长一定要对他们所读的内容进行筛选,做到难度适中,阅读内容比较对学生味口,并且配上必要的辅助工具如字典、笔记本等!阅读时可先进行大量的泛读,也就是一个时间段以内阅读很多本书,对书本内容只做大概的了解.然后从已读课本中选其中一些经典的,一本一本地进行精读,要把书中的每一个单词,每一句话都要彻底的搞清楚,不能留下任何一个盲点!通过大量的泛读和精读以后,学生可以掌握大量的英语单词、短语、句法、语法,英语的综合水平极大地得到提高.
