第一题的主语是the mayor ,是人,所以要用主动语态,市长工作到深夜是为了解决问题,所以用to settle.第二题,第一个空格的that是关系代词,用来引导定语从句,第二个空格的that是so.that的句型.第三题,这里的dare是使役动词,不是情态动词,所以要选c.第四题,his是形容词,后面跟的是是个名词,所以要选个名词形式的,只有c.第五题,第一空是prefer to的形式,我不多说了,第二空其实省略了 to,这题是前后的一个比较,these peasants prefer _to sell ____ trhe vegetables at half price rather than _to sllow____ them to go bad .时间关系,简单作答.
再问： 第三题还不是很明白 。。 然后我想问 第四题那个 accepting 是名词？ 。。。是第三什么意思？
再答： 第四题的accepting是个动名词形式，his是形容词， 对不对，所以，按照这题，空格应该填个名次或者含有名词性质的单词，所以选accepting。dare有使役动词和情态动词之分，情态动词遇到第三人称不用变换任何形式，所以AB错误，如果是使役动词，那么他的否定式就是doesn't dare ，对吗
再问： 当时我做的时候也在奇怪C ，。， 因为我们老师说 dare 做使役动词的时候 否定形式 是don't dare to、 后面有个to。。所以当时我发现没有to 才不选的。 那这道题做使役动词否定形式可以省略to ？是可以的吗?
