Last Sunday I saw a（改为the） worst storm in recent years. It came suddenly and continued On(去掉on) for over 3 hours. After lunch, I went into(此处添加my/a)room to have a rest. The air was hot and dull and all is（变为was）quiet. Then a strong wind started to blow. Pieces of paper on my desk flew highly （去掉ly）into the air and some out（加of）the window. As I ran out to catch them, big drop(改为drops) of rain began to fall.When of I came back, it was raining harder and harder.I tried to close the window but （and）heard a frightened(变为frightening) sound from the back of the house. I ran out of my room to find out what had happened: a big tree had fallen down and broke（变为broken） the top of the backroom. How terrible it was!

2.持续一段时间 用的是continue for + time
继续做某事 continue doing sth
没有continue on这个词组的
3.room前要加冠词（a,an,the）或物主代词（my your等）这里根据语意填my 或者 a
4.整篇用的是过去式 所以 is要改成was
5.highly是非常,高度地,比如说 speak highly of sb 高度赞扬某人,这里是 飞高 用high
6.out of the window 飞出窗外.out of the house 房外 out of...在...外的意思
7.雨滴是可数名词,所以用复数drops
8.frightened是害怕的意思,如I'm frightened.frightening 是令人害怕的意思.这里是令人害怕的声音.
