This paper,which is based on predecessors' research, by the methods of using literature research, investigation and study, comprehensive analysis and experimental research method,
analyzes the lacquer of chu period.First of all, overviewing of chu lacquer and leraning about related background knowledge,both of which lay the foundation for the research of the whole paper.and foucus on discussing the chu lacquer ware production process, as well as analyzing the contemporary environment of lacquer ware design;Secondly, study the chu traditional lacquer technology in modern lacquer ware design, the application of the TaiGu process, decoration process, production process used in contemporary lacquer are classified to explore;
Finally,based on the contemporary lacquer ware design practice of chu lacquer process, from the design, composition to lacquer product production is completed, give you roughly shows the process of lacquer ware, learned from the finished product, and the combination of traditional craft and modern design scheme is feasible.This paper mainly discusses the technological development of chu lacquer, on the basis of the chu lacquer craft, design research conforms to the modern use of lacquer ware products, summarizes the combined with the traditional method of modern lacquerwork.
