你把同位语从句和定语从句混淆了,同位语从句的先行词多为抽象名词,如：fact,news,hope,question,report,idea,rumour等,大多数情况下,同位语从句的关联词为that及一些关系副词.
【1】Many young people hold the idea that certificates and work experience help a lot in their job hunting.许多年轻人有这样一个理念,证书和工作经历对他们的求职作用很大.（同位语从句）
【2】An idea that is very popular with many young people is getting enough certificates and work experience for their job hunting.一个受到年轻人推崇的理念是,为了求职要获取足够的证书和工作经验.(定语从句)
从句法角度来看,引导同位语从句的连词that只起连接作用,在从句中不作任何成分,而引导定语从句的关系代词that除了连接主句和从句之外,在从句中作一定成分；从语义角度来看,同位语从句的先行词的内容在从句中得以表述,【1】中idea的内容就是certificates and work experience help a lot in their job hunting；而定语从句的先行词被后面的从句所限定,成所属关系,【2】中的idea是在年轻人中流行的理念.
