Introduction of the activity: utilise spare time during holidays to beautify my community by removing advertisement pasted on the walls and pillars.
Lessons learnt: when away from school, social practice becomes an effective agent through which I enriched my vacation life and experience the many different aspects of social life. By putting in consistent effort to eliminate the advertisement one hour per day, for a duration of one month, I achieved to train my perseverance, as well as living through difficulties in life. At the same time, it allows me to gain deeper understanding of the positive and negative impact an individual can have on the society. Littering and sticking advertisement at inappropriate places are shameful practices, as they not only undermine the environment in our community, but also downgrades the appearance of our surroundings greatly. It is my and everyone's responsibility to beautify and protect our environment!
