我们都知道,中方最重要的节日是春节,而西方是圣诞节.春节是2月9日,圣诞节是12月25日,中西方都是他们最重要的节日的前一天比较热闹.中国人会在春节前一天（除夕）挂灯笼、放鞭炮,迎来新的一年,而西方人则会在平安夜装饰上圣诞树,挂上希望圣诞老人送礼物来的袜子,会互相送苹果以示祝福.
西方人会在万圣节（11月1日）制作南瓜，扮鬼脸吓跑鬼怪，而小朋友们则会去串邻居家的门，而人们通常都会给他们一些糖果，因为它们会说“不给糖就捣乱！”而中国人会在清明节（4月5日）带小孩去扫墓，而在祭祀时不能捣乱，还要给去世的长辈跪拜行礼，以示怀念。
