电子商务作为新经济时代下的产物，为中小企业提供了与大企业竞争的良好平台和机会。通过对我国中小企业发展电子商务的现状及存在的问题进行分析，明确第三方电子商务平台对中小企业的作用，通过认识第三方电子商务平台带来的机遇并充分利用其所带来的服务，使中小企业发展电子商务，从而在激烈的市场竞争中立于不败之地。
本文大体上分为四个部分，首先简单介绍了我国中小企业的界定，对于中小企业的界定，我国采用的标准是复合定量标准。其次着重就目前我国中小企业发展电子商务的现状及存在的问题进行分析并作出了归纳总结，其中对于我国中小企业发展电子商务的存在的问题，主要从企业内部因素和企业外部环境因素两方面进行分析。然后针对我国中小企业发展电子商务的现状及存在的问题，分析了中小企业发展电子商务的模式之一——第三方电子商务平台模式的优势，进而分析总结了第三方电子商务平台对中小企业的作用。
最后是总结。中小企业发展电子商务已是大势所趋，在我国中小企业内部和外部环境都不太完善的今天，企业要根据自身条件及行业的特点来充分利用现有的资源，采取现有合适的电子商务模式，特别是目前较为成熟的第三方电子商务平台模式，从而推动中小企业自身电子商务的发展。

E-business acts as the production in the new economy age and provides small and medium enterprises with good platforms and chances to compete with large companies. Though analyzing the current condition of the development and exiting problems of small and medium enterprises’e-business and ensuring the role of the third party e-business platform to small and medium enterprises, and understanding the chances from the third party e-business platform, we should fully make use of the services to develop small and medium enterprises e-business and thus successfully stand on the competitive market places.
This article contain 4 parts in general. It simply introduces the definition of small and medium enterprises in our country ,which is combined ration criteria . Secondly, it concludes the current condition of the development and exiting problems of small and medium enterprises’e-business. It mainly analyses the exiting development problem of small and medium enterprises in the country from the external and internal enterprise factors. Then it analyses the advantages of the third party e-business platform model, one of the development models of small and medium enterprise e-business based on the current condition and exiting problems, and concludes the role of the third e-business platform on small and medium enterprises.
At last , it is concluded that it is an irresistible general trend that small and medium enterprises develop e-business. On the current internal and external imperfect environment of small and medium enterprises, the companies should make fully use of current resources on the basis of self condition and the characters of the industry and adopt current adequate e-business model, especially the mature third e-business platform model, to drive the development of small and medium e-business.
