I’m a 15-year-old girl.I look normal:I’m not tall or short,and I’m not ugly or beautiful.But there’s one problem:I have a big butt.
When I shop for dresses,I can never find one big enough for me.Most shops only have small sizes.So it’ s really hard for me to find the perfect dress.When I see thin girls in their small dresses,sometimes I can’t help being sad.
For most girls,getting a dress is easy.They can always find one that fits.
But not for me.It takes me weeks or even months to find a dress that covers my butt and doesn’t make my arms look so fat.A lot of time,I have to give up my favourite colour.Once,I was in a dressing room.The girl in the room beside me was talking to her friend.She said she had been on a diet all year,but her butt was still too big.Poor girl!She was so thin,she looked like she hadn’t eaten in months!After I saw her,I decided I don’t want to go on that kind of diet.
But each time I am out with mum,I can only think about two things:finding a dress,and eating something good for lunch.Maybe I should try to eat a little less.
Or maybe girls shouldn’t worry about being thin all the time.We should just try to be happy with ourselves.
I went to 324 dress shops last year when I was looking for a dress.This year,I’m not going to worry about it too much.The world is full of small butts,and I’m proud to have a big one.
