1.第一题从时态即可得出答案
it + be + 时间段 + before从句
How long do you think it WAS before he TOOK up the job?
How long do you think it WILL BE before he TAKES up the job?
it + be + 时间段 + since从句 （since的本意是 从过去某个时间点以来.来到了“现在” 强调的是延续性,而且是延续到了现在 所以用 is或者has been都跟现在有关）
How long do you think it IS/HAS BEEN since he TOOK up the job?
2.第二题虽然没有选项 但只能用 whose了
如果勉强想用别的话可以换成 of whom 但要在名词income前加上定冠词 the还要改变一下语序才行,即
...countryside,anyone,THE income of whom falls...can...但感觉还是很拗口 在表示所有格的先行词选择中 如果先行词是个名词 不是代词 时 才勉强可以用 of whom/of which这样的关系词代替whose ；相反如果 of which/of whom不是表示 所有格,而是某个短语或者搭配中的介词of时 反倒不能用whose只能用 of which/of whom了 比如在 make fun of somebody这个短语里 介词是 of 所以 如果是 Anyone of whom you used to make fun has the right to kill you slowly.(你以前取笑过的任何人都有权利慢慢折磨你致死.这个例子好极端-_-) 类似的短语还有 be tired of...get rid of...in charge of...等等
