欢迎朋友们来参观我们的工厂。看见我们今天这个样子，大家或许想不到我们过去不过是个街道办的小厂， 还是大跃进那年由几个家庭妇女白手起家搞起来的。当时大家心劲很高，虽然没有先进设备，技术力量也不足，但大家群策群力，生产还是逐步提高了。可是后来由于极左思潮的影响，文化革命期间工厂几乎停产。要不是改革开放的政策，我们厂就倒闭了。这些年来，工厂发展得非常快。因为有了人才流动的政策，厂里请到了专家，我们又更新了设备，扩大了生产，真是鸟枪换炮了。

We extend our welcome to our friends coming here to visit our factory. Judging from the present status, you may not have thought that ours was a small factory run by the neighborhood in the past. It was built up from scratch by several housewives during the year of the Great Leap Forward. Everyone was full of high enthusiasm at that time. Although there was no advanced equipment and the technical personnel were not sufficient, yet we pooled together the wisdom and efforts from everyone to raise the production step by step. Later, however, due to the influence of ultra-left ideas, the factory almost stopped production during the period of the Culture Revolution. But for the policy of reform and opening up, our factory would have gone bankrupt. The factory has developed very fast these years. Because of the policy on the free flow of talents, some experts were employed in the factory. We have renewed the equipment and expanded production. Really, fowling piece has been replaced by artillery piece!
