There is a trend in middle school students in some cities to own famous-brand products now.
Opinions vary about students wearing famous-brand clothing.Some parents are for this trend.They say their families are rich enough to afford the famous-brand goods and they are of better quality than ordinary goods.Besides,they use better material and last longer.In addition,they are more comfortable to wear.
Other people think it not good for middle school students to pursue famous-brand clothing.First,the students’ task is to study.If they care too much about famous-brand clothing,they cannot concentrate on their studies.Second,as students cannot make money,their parents have to provide them with everything they need.So it can also become a heavy burden to their families.
In my opinion,middle school students should not pursue famous-brand clothing even if their families are wealthy because it is Chinese traditional virtue to practice thrift.
