2.去掉he
句子主语是Oliver Twist,the hero of the story为同位语,所以后面的he重复多余.

let是使役动词,the children是宾语（who are so young是它的定语从句）,其后为宾语补足语
主动句中,不定式如果做let的宾语补足语,必须去掉不定式符号to
5.在able后面加上to
