A man returning from Europe landed at Kennedy Airport and stepped on a weighing machine which reports weights by voice instead of by card.Dropping in a dime,he heard the voice said,＂You are 5 feet 10 inches tall,weigh 185 pounds,and you are taking a plane to Chicago.″He tried it again and got the same answer.To test it our thoroughly,he stepped aside,put on a different-colored coat and tie,pulled his hat down over his ears,stooped over,climbed on the machine,and received this startling answer,＂You are 5 feet 10 inches tall,weigh 185 pounds.Your plane left for Chicago while you were changing your coat.″

An inept golfer once drove his tee shot onto an anthill.After many swings he demolished the anthill,but still had not hit the ball.And this point one of the two ants still alive,it turned to the other and said,＂If we’re going to survive,we’d better get on the ball!″
