“帽子结构”：真核mRNA特有的
CpG岛：CpG岛(CpG island)一词是用来描述哺乳动物基因组DNA中的一部分序列,其特点是胞嘧啶(C)与鸟嘌呤(G)的总和超过4种碱基总和的50%,即每10个核苷酸约出现一次双核苷酸序列CG.具有这种特点的序列仅占基因组DNA总量的10%左右

The 5' cap is a specially altered nucleotide on the 5' end of precursor messenger RNA and some other primary RNA transcripts as found in eukaryotes and,as a special exception,caliciviruses such as noroviruses.The process of 5' capping is vital to creating mature messenger RNA,which is then able to undergo translation.Capping ensures the messenger RNA's stability while it undergoes translation in the process of protein synthesis,and is a highly regulated process that occurs in the cell nucleus.
CpG is dinucleotides on DNA which can be methylated.This methylation is regulated for promoter activity.
