皮尔森一家来到了他们在缅因州的度假房开始了他们的家庭假期.不过,在他们抵达他们的房子时,发现阁楼上住着一个友好的外星人.然而,尽管这个外星人是友好的,但是他的外星人朋友们却并不那么善良.他们来到小屋之后,开始野心勃勃的想要控制全人类,占领地球.这群只有3尺高的小外星人虽然手无缚鸡之力,但是他们有着强大的心灵武器可以控制人类的大脑,不过这种武器却只能对成年人起作用,小孩并不受其影响.于是,汤姆、杰克这几个小伙伴便担负了保卫地球的责任……
